Recovering From Deeply Embedded Coded Neural Activations
Recovering from severe torture where there are deeply embedded neural activations is a long walk to freedom. Yet that freedom is sweet.
The Immediate Aftermath
After unspeakable trauma, acute neurological affects may begin immediately, yet they may also intensify after a couple or even few days. This exceptionally fragile state may then last for two weeks or even more.
If the mind is still fragile from trauma, time is needed for it to develop neurological hardness and for you to develop internal resilience. Not just psychologically but also biologically; the brain does biologically toughen from trauma over time; it can take months and years for this to occur.
During this strengthening phase you are vulnerable so must prioritise rest. That literally means, when the trauma is at it’s most acute and your mind it’s most fragile, you must, for your own safety - and perhaps sometimes others - prioritise calmness, coolness, and sleep. Take it slow; rest.
If you are having perpetual nightmares, do work with a physician if you can for medication that is safe they may be able to prescribe that will diminish these.
During this time it is vital you must soothe your mind.
This phase during which the brain is biologically toughening and recovering is the most sensitive and trying; it might almost seem impossible to control the mind’s activation and own automatic reactions, but it is possible to slowly walk, or gently swim, yourself through calmness to quietness.
Reassociation of Difficult Activation
Recoding
With acute activation, the mind may be working in hyper-fast, trauma mode, which can be exceptionally difficult to handle, almost like a runaway train stuck on a track (one type of imagery for it you may use). Steer it by taking the activator (whatever keyed, coded, cued, or triggered the activation) and apply it to something else to "jump the tracks" to a safe line. Keep making the changed association in your mind with endurance, as difficult as this may be at the time, and gradually it will re-bind with the new association.
The mind may be constantly thinking of a particular bad thing automatically, prompted by the activator and trauma; just keep thinking of the good thing to gently re-associate it. It may feel like trying to put an exceptionally strong magnet on a repelling field until the field switches, but it can be done; eventually the field will modify, reroute. It can take exceptional discipline of mind and neurological strength because you are fighting an automatic neurological impulse, but it is possible and you can do it; the more you think positive, healing, calming, healthy, the more any negativity will diffuse and the impulse will re-associate: the code will be re-coded, the key be re-cut, the cue re-shaped, the trigger diffused. It may or may not let go of the memory of the previous association entirely, but eventually it will heal and let go of anything harmful; and the negative memory associations will fade more and more until they are no more.
The more experience you have of neurological re-coding, the more easily your mind will be able to do this in the future. Eventually your neurology will become exceptionally resilient, enabling it to not only identify activators super-fast but able to re-code almost instantly to its own healthy benefit.
As with most recovery, and especially with trauma, this takes time, practice, self-kindness, and compassion.
You will begin to think of different imagery yourself that you find helpful, to reassociate anything difficult so that what seemed like a giant mountain before is simply thrown in the sea, or a deeply rooted tree is simply lifted up and thrown somewhere else to become a beautiful flower instead; neurological mastery, and absolute self-control and self-sovereignty.
There are other techniques to re-program codes, cues, keys, or triggers; to neurologically dance around any harmful neurological activators with the discipline, accuracy, strength, and clarity of mind of a martial artist.
Colours
If an activation was instigated by a particular colour, one technique is to reverse it. You can use a simple program to do this on a computer to see the colour's reverse. Whenever any negative association presents itself by way of that colour, simply reverse it in your mind and the activation fades away like foam.
Languages
A very powerful technique is to use other languages to rewire while healing takes place. Languages particularly different to English are very useful for this if any coding is based in English, if that is your primary language, or what the abuse was based in.
Using alternative languages is powerful because it can literally upend all negative associations entirely, quickly, simply, by using another language.
Take a word or association you have difficulty with and look it up in the dictionary of another language; it often changes it to one that has no negative association; or there may be other phonetically (the sound of the word) similar words nearby that can do the same thing to "shift" the program over to a safe association.
What is so beneficial about this technique is you can simply use any language you choose to if the first you look at isn’t helpful.
You need to use literal phonetics ( the sound of the word ) and how the word looks to do this.
Let me take a couple of examples to help show you how two words - and by extension all their meanings' hold, which is often a lot of negative associations - can easily be reassociated:
Let's simply take the word 'trauma' and choose Swahili as the other language. In Swahili 'trauma' is 'kiwewe'. In English it sounds like the fruit 'kiwi'. So if a kiwi has no negative association for you, you can think of fruity kiwis every time you think of any trauma.
Let’s now take the word 'blood' in English. I will give two examples for this.
Let's choose Swahili as the first other language where it is 'damu'. That is just like 'dam' in English. So, if you think of blood ever for any negative reason, just dam that thought and it is stopped.
For the second example let's take Italian where 'blood' is 'sangue', which is English is just like 'sanguine', which means 'optimistic' or 'hopeful'. You may see there is 'angue' in that one, which may, or may not, provoke the mind to think of 'angry' or 'argue'; it's not angry, and doesn't want to argue; it's placid, hopeful, optimistic. Any anger is dammed up. If you use this re-association, 'blood' becomes optimistic, fresh, cheerful, just as when cheeks go red from healthiness.
Doing re-associations like this nudges the mind onto a different path, which is much easier than trying to completely stop it.
You can also use other phonetic and linguistic techniques such as changing what you think of. With 'blood', for example, you may think of its good associations with life, recovery; the holder of oxygen. 'Trauma' is more difficult to change in this way, so you could use another meaning of it - 'ordeal' - and just change that to be 'or deal', so that instead of thinking of trauma, you think of business 'deals', or dealing cards in a game, or simply 'sharing', which is another term for 'deal out'.
And if those new associations aren't beneficial for you personally, keep trying other languages and meanings until your mind links with a pleasant, calming, healthy alternative or substitution.
You are a self-sovereign being; you choose what aligns with light and your own well-being.
That's how you do it. You can think of it sort of like linguistic martial arts.
