How To Use This Information
The information I am posting slowly over time has been gained over many years of experience; through exceptional trauma.
I post as much practical and useful information as possible as I am able to; sometimes I may need to edit or re-write posts where this is helpful. I do this so that what is needed is already accessible in these resource pages.
I post it for survivors and all helping them so that they have 'All Access', freely, to practical techniques to help survive the acute immediate after-affects of trauma, endure the years it takes to recover, and go on to flourish.
Most survivors have intense difficulty finding practical help for surviving; most medics and psychologists - if survivors even have access to medical care at all - are not trained to deal with survivors of torture and acute long-term abuse; academic teaching is often slow, outdated, unhelpful, and can even be counter-productive.
Survivors need help, practical help; they need it fast; they need it at a low cost; they need it where it can be applied anywhere, any time. They often have few material resources for help precisely because what they survived means they cannot hold a traditional job with steady income; it has affected their body and mind to such a devastating degree that a traditional career is not sustainable or healthy for any number of reasons.
Often the first reaction of survivors, and even those helping them, is to reach out to others for help, which is often unavailable and can be counter-productive anyway. Very few know how to truly help survivors of torture; it is an extreme form of abuse. What is even more tragic is that many trafficking networks also use compromised, slimy, even dangerous medics and medical staff to identify and influence vulnerable survivors of trauma; this goes on even in places you might think it couldn't.
This does not mean physical medical help shouldn't be sought; where appropriate it should and must be. Yet survivors of acute trauma should always be aware they need to mentally protect themselves not only from trafficking networks that infiltrate medical institutions, but from over-reliance on others, which inevitably causes points of vulnerability.
The more a survivor can go within to heal and learn methods to apply in any situation that presents itself, the more they develop resilience internally to be able to stand; and stand without needing the reliance and support of others.
A few methods I developed based off others' methods who had survived torture; I augmented them and went further to develop a number of quick and easy-to-use practical resources that can be applied anytime, anywhere, by anyone; many with little to no material cost.
It is vital survivors have practical methods to implement; quickly. There is no use for a survivor of acute trauma to enter a room with someone who says little more than "how do you feel?" - a question with zero practical recovery benefit. Real help changes the feelings; calms the often hyper-sensitive, hyper-activated, and delicate neurology; it does so practically, mentally, physically, quickly; that is what is needed.
The techniques I post are practical and simple. Some of the methods to help lift and modify deeply embedded neurological activations may take time to learn how to implement with mastery; its takes time and experience to learn alongside your own neurology how to modify it; yet it can be done.
Every person responds to trauma differently. What activates is unique to each person even if there are general themes affecting types of people. It is therefore important to take the information and augment it for yourself, or the person you are helping, according to what is individually beneficial.
The techniques I post are generally applicable to everyone; anyone can apply them in their own life; yet it doesn't mean that they will always all be actionable, or that they will all operate anytime, by anyone. The exact details the techniques can be applied to should be tailored to each person. For example, cool colours and pastels are generally soothing, yet someone may have acute activation with a particular one of those, in which case an alternative should be sought.
What is posted here focuses on mental and neurological survival and endurance; then extending to include recovery and enhancement.
Overall, the most important neurological aspects of surviving acute trauma are to cool, calm, and quieten the mind - to desensitise it; then to neurologically modify anything unhelpful.
Enduring the after-effects of acute trauma is a long walk; it needs to be taken slowly, with enormous self-compassion. Where the trauma is severe, it is vital you rest when needed, are aware of anything that is externally activating, and learn your mind's own unique blueprint so that you can, yourself, learn to cool and calm it, re-arrange any neural pathways so that they lift and modify, and begin to rise in sovereignty in and over your own mind and body and what it has endured.
All that is posted in these pages is for you to take all you want and need to freely; to recover within, that you go on to rise in your own strength and confidence to flourish and enjoy life.
This information is here for you to repurpose trauma into clarity and calmness of thought; where there is no programmed signature, only inner self-command; where you are self-steered, self-sealed, and aligned with life.
